It is his policy to make the Building Reports as thorough, yet at the same time as realistic and as readable as possible. ‘Jargon’ will be used as little as possible, and where such technical terms are unavoidable, an illustrated glossary is included within the report. A little background on Letchworth:
The village of Letchworth was mentioned in the Domesday Book together with the neighbouring villages of Willian and Norton. They came together for the creation of the first Garden City in the world in 1903. Letchworth has the honour of having the first roundabout on a public road in Europe - "Sollershott Circus" was constructed in 1909. Letchworth Garden City has one of the largest colonies of black squirrels in the UK, and wild muntjac deer roam the housing estates.
